Samsung Enhances Care+ Plans with Unlimited Repairs and More Accessibility Across Europe

Samsung Electronics has upgraded its Samsung Care+ device protection service, now available across 17 European markets, including the United Kingdom. Starting January 29, customers in Europe will benefit from enhanced coverage, offering unlimited repairs, expanded walk-in repair services, and more flexibility for Galaxy device users, including smartphones, tablets, wearables, and PCs.

Key Features of the New Samsung Care+

Unlimited Accidental Damage Protection
Samsung Care+ now offers unlimited accidental damage cover, protecting against drops, spills, and knocks. This new benefit ensures that customers are covered for Samsung-certified repairs, regardless of how often their device is damaged. The excess fee structure has been simplified, offering consistent charges regardless of the type or extent of damage.

Global Coverage and Walk-in Repairs
Samsung has removed the 60-day trip limit, providing comprehensive coverage both at home and abroad. In addition, the company has expanded its network by opening 175 new walk-in repair locations. These centers allow customers to get their devices repaired quickly and efficiently, using genuine Samsung parts at authorized service centers.

Send-in Repairs
For added convenience, customers can also opt for send-in repairs, with Samsung handling collection and delivery. This seamless service ensures that repairs are completed quickly and that users face minimal disruption.

Extended Warranty and Free Battery Replacement

Extended Warranty
Samsung Care+ goes beyond the standard warranty by covering mechanical and electrical failures even after the standard warranty expires. This extended protection ensures that customers don’t have to worry about unexpected repairs after the initial coverage period ends.

Free Battery Replacement
If a device’s battery capacity falls below 80% after the manufacturer’s warranty ends, Samsung Care+ will provide a free battery replacement. All replacements are performed by Samsung-certified technicians who rigorously test the battery to ensure its performance.

Flexible Payment Options

Monthly Payment Plans
Customers now have the option to choose a monthly payment plan for up to 60 months of coverage. This flexibility allows them to spread out payments and adjust the protection plan according to their budget. Alternatively, a two-year policy can be paid upfront in a lump sum for those who prefer fixed-term coverage.

Theft and Loss Coverage

Theft and Loss Protection
For customers seeking additional security, Samsung Care+ offers an option to include theft and loss coverage. Once a claim is approved, customers receive a replacement device within 48 hours, minimizing any disruption. Samsung’s Knox Guard technology also enables users to remotely lock lost or stolen devices, safeguarding personal data and preventing fraudulent use. Note that Knox Guard must be activated on all insured mobile phones or tablets.

Expanding Service Across Europe

With this upgrade, Samsung Care+ expands to more European markets and enhances its service offering by adding new repair locations. Samsung continues to focus on providing exceptional customer service by expanding access to repair centers and streamlining the repair process for its customers.
