The event showcased Samsung SDS’s new AI full-stack strategy, highlighting its partnership with OpenAI and its commitment to driving AI transformation in enterprise environments. This marks a significant step as Samsung SDS becomes the first Korean company to sign a reseller partnership with OpenAI, solidifying its role in the rapidly expanding AI industry.

Held on January 28, the seminar attracted over 500 participants, including industry decision-makers and AI professionals. The event offered insights into the integration of ChatGPT Enterprise into enterprise workflows and showcased real-world examples of businesses adopting AI to drive innovation.
In his keynote address, Ho-joon Lee, Executive Vice President of Samsung SDS’s Cloud Service Business Division, emphasized the need for scalable AI solutions that extend beyond basic adoption. He explained that Samsung SDS’s AI full-stack approach covers everything from AI consulting to platforms, infrastructure, and data security, enabling seamless integration of AI across enterprise functions.

Samsung SDS’s reseller partnership with OpenAI is seen as a pivotal development in Korea’s AI transformation. Jieun Clio Han, Strategy Account Director at OpenAI Korea, shared global success stories where ChatGPT Enterprise has been a game-changer in improving business operations, particularly in customer service, marketing, and data analysis.
Real-World Applications: Secta9ine and Hanatour Lead the Way
Two key customers, Secta9ine and Hanatour, shared their experiences with adopting ChatGPT Enterprise through Samsung SDS.
Secta9ine, an IT and marketing platform provider for brands like Paris Baguette and Baskin Robbins, became the first to implement ChatGPT Enterprise following Samsung SDS’s partnership with OpenAI. Yeon-jin Choo, Executive Vice President at Secta9ine, highlighted how the company plans to integrate generative AI into its development, data analysis, and marketing functions to enhance productivity and offer a more personalized customer experience.
Meanwhile, Hanatour, a leader in the travel industry, introduced H-AI, a unique multi-AI-agent service for 24/7 customer support and personalized tour recommendations. Tae-gwon Kim, Director of IT at Hanatour, stressed that strong security architecture and the ability to leverage top-tier AI models were key factors in their decision to adopt ChatGPT Enterprise. Hanatour’s focus on AI-driven transformation will play a critical role in enhancing both operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
