The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 lineup is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated smartphone launches of 2026. According to new industry leaks, the series—which includes the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra—will reportedly debut globally on February 25, 2026, during the next Galaxy Unpacked event.

While Samsung has not yet confirmed any details, reports suggest that the Samsung Galaxy S26 series will introduce a major improvement to its wireless charging speed, marking the first upgrade in six years.

Faster Wireless Charging for All Models

According to South Korean publication ETNews, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will feature 25W wireless charging, while the Galaxy S26+ and standard Galaxy S26 are expected to support 20W fast wireless charging. This is a significant leap from the 15W charging speed found in the Galaxy S25 and earlier flagship models.

This improvement represents Samsung’s effort to match or surpass competitors in the wireless charging race, ensuring faster, more efficient power delivery without compromising battery health.

Design and Display Upgrades in the Samsung Galaxy S26 Series

Leaked renders suggest that Samsung will continue refining the elegant design of the Galaxy S25, possibly introducing a raised camera island and slimmer body profile. Tipster Ice Universe also shared possible dimensions—indicating that the standard Galaxy S26 will feature a slightly larger 6.3-inch display, up from the 6.2-inch screen of its predecessor.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy S26+ and S26 Ultra will reportedly maintain their existing 6.7-inch and 6.9-inch display sizes, with improved brightness and efficiency thanks to Samsung’s next-gen OLED technology.

Performance and Charging Specs Expected

Other reports hint that the Galaxy S26 Ultra will support 45W wired charging, while the smaller models retain 25W support. Under the hood, most units will likely run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, with select markets receiving an Exynos 2600 variant.

With these upgrades, Samsung aims to push the limits of smartphone performance while offering smoother AI integration, improved heat management, and extended battery life.

What to Expect at the Galaxy Unpacked 2026 Launch

If the February 25 date holds true, the Samsung Galaxy S26 series will debut alongside new AI-powered Galaxy features and accessories, setting a new standard for premium Android devices. As excitement builds, tech enthusiasts expect Samsung to deliver one of its most refined flagship experiences yet.
