Following design and specification leaks in recent weeks, a fresh report has shed light on the colour variants and storage configurations for Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S25 FE—the next device in its Fan Edition lineup.

Familiar Storage Options Expected

The current Galaxy S24 FE, which launched with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB storage, set the standard for Samsung’s budget flagship offering. According to well-known leaker @MysteryLupin on X (formerly Twitter), Samsung plans to retain the two storage variants and 8 GB RAM configuration for the Galaxy S25 FE.

This consistency comes as no surprise, considering recent reports suggest Samsung isn’t making sweeping changes to the internal hardware like chipsets or the camera setup.

Display and Charging Upgrades

While the design remains largely unchanged—confirmed by official certifications—the Galaxy S25 FE may feature notable display and battery improvements:

  • LTPO AMOLED Display: This dynamic display tech can vary refresh rates from 1 Hz to 120 Hz, conserving battery life during idle moments and delivering smoother visuals during use.
  • Larger Battery: Leaks point to a modest battery boost from 4,700 mAh to 4,900 mAh.
  • Faster Charging: The phone may support 45W fast charging, a welcome upgrade for users needing quicker top-ups.

Sleeker Design and New Colourways

In addition to performance enhancements, Samsung seems to be refreshing the aesthetics. The Galaxy S25 FE is said to be thinner and lighter than its predecessor. It will reportedly come in four new colour options:

  • Navy
  • Ice Blue
  • Jet Black
  • White

These shades replace the Galaxy S24 FE’s more playful options like Mint, Yellow, and Graphite.

No Major Camera Overhaul

The camera department might see little to no change. Samsung is expected to carry over the triple-lens setup from the S24 FE, indicating the company is focusing more on internal efficiency and design polish than on photography innovation for this model.

Potential Launch Timeline

Samsung has not officially confirmed a launch date, but based on previous release cycles and increasing frequency of leaks, the Galaxy S25 FE may debut in late summer or early fall of 2025.
