Samsung Electronics took center stage at the Olympism365 Summit hosted by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in Lausanne, Switzerland, from June 3–5, 2025, showcasing its flagship CSR initiative — Samsung Solve for Tomorrow. As the Worldwide Olympic Partner for Mobile and Computing Equipment, Samsung used this platform to emphasize how technology and education can inspire young minds to create real-world impact.
Held at IOC headquarters, the summit welcomed over 250 representatives from 100 organizations including UN agencies, civil society leaders, and IOC Young Leaders. The focus was on aligning sport and innovation to advance the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Samsung’s participation spotlighted success stories from across the globe, particularly that of Ramneek Kaur Ahluwalia, a 2022 UK Solve for Tomorrow winner.
Ramneek shared her personal journey developing MyVision, a smart device inspired by her experience with visual impairment. Her solution, made possible with Samsung mentorship, aims to assist others facing similar challenges, turning a deeply personal obstacle into global opportunity. She engaged with IOC Young Leaders, including UK’s Sherief Kholeif, discussing how to expand tech access through sport-based youth programs.
As a result of public voting during the Paris Olympics, Samsung announced “Social Change Through Sport & Technology” as a key global theme for Solve for Tomorrow 2025. The initiative continues to grow as a collaborative space for young changemakers to drive innovation and inclusion in their communities.
By linking sport, sustainability, and smart solutions, Samsung reinforces its commitment to youth empowerment, ensuring that the next generation can imagine — and build — a more inclusive future.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hpTwOFrZmiM
