The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge has taken a step closer to launch as new details about its battery capacity and pricing have emerged. Samsung’s upcoming flagship model is expected to bridge the gap between the Galaxy S25+ and the Galaxy S25 Ultra, offering a premium experience with a sleek design and powerful internals.

Battery Capacity Confirmed

Recent certification listings have confirmed that the Galaxy S25 Edge will come with a 3,786 mAh battery, which will be marketed with a typical capacity of 3,900 mAh. While this is not the largest battery size in the S25 lineup, Samsung likely aims to optimize battery efficiency through software enhancements and chipset improvements.

However, with competitors pushing larger battery capacities, the S25 Edge’s endurance might not be its strongest selling point. Samsung is expected to rely on better power management and One UI optimizations to extend usage time.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge Pricing Details

Alongside the battery details, pricing information has also surfaced. The Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to start at KRW 1,500,000 ($1,030) for the 256GB model, while the 512GB variant will cost KRW 1,630,000 ($1,120). This places the device between the Galaxy S25+ and the S25 Ultra, reinforcing its position as a premium mid-tier flagship.

For comparison:

  • Galaxy S25 Edge (256GB) – $1,030
  • Galaxy S25 Edge (512GB) – $1,120
  • Galaxy S25+ (expected pricing) – Slightly lower than the Edge model
  • Galaxy S25 Ultra (expected pricing) – Higher than the Edge model

This pricing aligns with Samsung’s premium smartphone strategy, offering a balance between affordability and flagship-level features.

Expected Specifications

Leaks and rumors suggest that the Galaxy S25 Edge will feature:

  • Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC – Samsung’s latest high-performance chipset for faster processing and AI-driven enhancements.
  • 12GB RAM – Providing efficient multitasking and gaming performance.
  • 120Hz refresh rate display – Ensuring smooth scrolling and fluid animations.
  • 200 MP primary camera – Samsung’s flagship-grade sensor for detailed and high-quality photos.
  • Dual-camera setup – Unlike the S25 Ultra, which features multiple lenses, the Edge variant will stick to a simplified yet powerful camera system.
  • 25W wired charging – A standard fast-charging speed, though competitors are offering faster solutions.

Where the Galaxy S25 Edge Stands

The Galaxy S25 Edge is shaping up to be a compelling mid-tier flagship for users who want a premium Samsung experience without paying Ultra-tier prices. However, battery life and fast-charging speeds could be points of contention when compared to rivals.

With official announcements expected in the coming months, more details on design, performance, and availability should surface soon. Stay tuned for further updates on Samsung’s next-gen flagship lineup.
