Samsung’s Galaxy XR headset is one step closer to hitting the market after successfully passing its Bluetooth certification. With the model number SM-I610, the device has been officially listed in the Bluetooth qualification database, confirming it has met all requirements for wireless communication. This marks a crucial milestone in the development of the much-anticipated mixed reality headset, previously known as Project Moohan.

The Galaxy XR headset is set to make waves in the world of augmented reality (AR), offering users an immersive experience combining the physical and virtual worlds. Samsung fans have been eagerly awaiting its launch, and it seems the wait is almost over. The device is expected to be officially unveiled later next month, with limited availability likely in South Korea before expanding to other regions.

Though Samsung has not yet revealed specific pricing details, early reports suggest that the Galaxy XR headset could be priced above $2,000. This price tag reflects its premium status in the emerging AR market. As one of Samsung’s flagship wearables, the Galaxy XR is expected to feature groundbreaking technology and top-tier performance.

In addition to the Bluetooth certification, Samsung has showcased the Galaxy XR on several occasions, adding to the excitement surrounding its release. With its unique capabilities, the headset aims to rival Meta’s AR glasses and other industry leaders, positioning Samsung as a major player in the mixed reality space.

Stay tuned as Samsung prepares to launch its highly anticipated Galaxy XR headset, bringing users a new dimension of virtual and augmented reality experiences.
