Samsung has resumed the stable One UI 7 update rollout after pausing it earlier this month due to several bugs. Users on Reddit and the Samsung Community confirmed that the update is now available on their devices. Many Galaxy S24 users on T-Mobile and Boost Mobile in the U.S. reported receiving the update this week.
Galaxy S24 Ultra owners in countries like Egypt, Kenya, Mauritius, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, and Turkey have also confirmed access to the update. Posts on the GalaxyS24 and S24Ultra subreddits show that the rollout is now active in multiple regions.
The update isn’t limited to the S24 series. Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6 users in India, South Africa, and Thailand have also received One UI 7. Sammy Fans reported that T-Mobile and Verizon are updating both the foldables and the S24 series simultaneously.
One UI 7 brings several improvements and new features. These include redesigned app icons, a new camera interface, and a split view for notifications and quick settings. The camera app now supports custom filters. It also adds call recording and transcription tools.
Samsung added Log video support for advanced video editing. They also introduced an Audio Eraser feature that removes background noise from videos. These tools give users more creative control, especially when recording content on the go.
Samsung paused the initial rollout after users reported glitches and slowdowns. Since then, the company has addressed those issues and restarted the release. The update is now reaching more users globally.
If you use a supported Galaxy device, you should check for updates in your phone settings. One UI 7 offers useful upgrades without major design changes. It focuses on smoother performance and added tools for everyday use.
