Samsung Slips: Galaxy S25 Edge Price Revealed Before Launch
Samsung has accidentally confirmed the pricing of its upcoming Galaxy S25 Edge, days before its official unveiling scheduled for May 13. The premium Android device, known for its ultra-thin design and powerful hardware, was quietly listed on the French version of Samsung Canada’s website—unintentionally giving tech fans an early look at its price tag.
According to the now-removed listing, the Galaxy S25 Edge will be priced between the Galaxy S25+ and S25 Ultra. The 256GB model will retail for CAD 1,678 (roughly $1,200 or €1,100), while the 512GB version will cost CAD 1,858 (about $1,350 or €1,200).
The pricing leak appeared on a Terms and Conditions page related to discounts for the Galaxy Tab S10 FE, where the S25 Edge was mistakenly mentioned as an eligible device for a 20% discount. Alongside the pricing, the page also included serial numbers and available color options—Titanium Silver and Titanium Jet Black—further confirming the slip-up wasn’t just a placeholder error.
As for specs, the Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to ship with the high-performance Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, feature a 200 MP primary camera, and come in a sleek, ultra-thin chassis. However, it’s rumored to carry a smaller battery, which may be a trade-off for its slim profile.
With excitement building and official details now partially public, all eyes are on Samsung’s upcoming launch event to see how the S25 Edge stacks up in the premium smartphone race.
