Samsung introduced two flagship tablets in 2024: the massive 15-inch Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra and the more portable 12.4-inch Galaxy Tab S10+. This year, Samsung decided to skip the 11-inch model, which had low demand in previous iterations.
The Galaxy Tab S10+ is significantly smaller and more portable than its Ultra counterpart. However, despite its lower price, it maintains the same high-quality display and powerful processing capabilities. The tablet features a 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with an anti-reflective coating, providing users with a premium viewing experience.
Powering the Galaxy Tab S10+ is the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset, built on a 4nm process. It boasts four Cortex-X4 prime cores (one clocked at 3.4GHz and three at 2.85GHz), offering an 18% boost in processing performance and a 28% improvement in graphics over last year’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 used in the Tab S9 series.
The tablet is equipped with a sizable 10,090mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging, ensuring long runtimes for everyday tasks. Additionally, Samsung includes the S Pen in the box, making it easy for users to multitask, create content, and navigate the user interface.
One notable design feature of the Galaxy Tab S10+ is the absence of a notch, which sets it apart from the larger Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra and will likely appeal to users who prefer a cleaner display design.
Samsung is already selling the Galaxy Tab S10+ worldwide, with the base 12GB RAM/256GB storage model priced at €1,119/£999/$999/INR 90,999. Users can also enhance their experience with accessories like the €180 Book Cover Keyboard Slim or the €260 Book Cover Keyboard, which features a backlit keyboard, glass trackpad, and detachable design for more versatility.
The Galaxy Tab S10+ combines portability, power, and premium features, making it a compelling option in Samsung’s tablet lineup for 2024.
