Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge: Slim, Smart, and Surprisingly Powerful
Samsung has officially introduced the Galaxy S25 Edge, a groundbreaking slim smartphone that blends flagship performance, elegant design, and intelligent AI features into one ultra-portable device. At just 5.8mm thick and weighing 163 grams, it’s not only one of Samsung’s thinnest phones ever, but also one of the most advanced in its class.
“The S25 Edge isn’t just about being thin. It’s an engineering triumph that delivers premium experiences in a sleek form,” said TM Roh, President and Acting Head of Samsung’s Device eXperience Division.
Design: Slim Body, Titanium Build
The Galaxy S25 Edge features a refined titanium frame with gently curved edges, offering a balance between durability and elegance. Its front screen is protected by the latest Corning® Gorilla® Glass Ceramic 2, combining vibrant display clarity with next-level scratch and impact resistance.
Camera: A 200MP Powerhouse in Your Pocket
Despite its slim profile, the S25 Edge includes a 200MP wide-angle lens, delivering high-resolution photos and a 40% brightness boost for low-light shots. It also sports a 12MP ultra-wide sensor with autofocus for detailed macro photography, and a 12MP front camera for selfies.
Samsung’s ProVisual Engine enhances image clarity and skin tone accuracy, while AI-powered features like Audio Eraser and Drawing Assist make creative editing effortless.
Performance: AI and Power in Harmony
Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform for Galaxy, the S25 Edge delivers fast, efficient performance backed by advanced on-device AI. Samsung redesigned its vapor chamber cooling system to maintain performance under pressure, even within the phone’s ultra-slim body.
The device also includes ProScaler AI, improving image upscaling by 40%, and features Samsung’s mobile Digital Natural Image engine (mDNIe) for vibrant visuals.
Galaxy AI: Smarter, Safer, and Seamlessly Integrated
With deep Galaxy AI integration, the S25 Edge acts as a personal assistant, offering intuitive suggestions and productivity tools across multiple apps. Features like Now Brief and Now Bar sync with your daily routine and third-party apps for helpful reminders throughout your day.
Thanks to Samsung’s collaboration with Google, users can also interact with Gemini Live, an AI that uses camera and screen sharing for real-time assistance—all while keeping data secure with Samsung Knox Vault.
