The highly anticipated Galaxy S26 Ultra is making waves with its design, which takes inspiration from the Galaxy S25 Edge. According to recent renders, the S26 Ultra will feature a flat frame, rounded corners, and the return of a camera island—a departure from the individual lens design introduced in previous models. This design shift is a significant change for Samsung’s flagship lineup, offering a familiar yet fresh look.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to be 7.9mm thick, with the camera island protruding about 4.5mm from the body. This will likely cause some wobble when the phone is placed on a flat surface, a characteristic shared with other Samsung flagships. However, this issue will likely be resolved by the centered camera island, which is set to return in future models.

A noteworthy change in the S26 Ultra is the positioning of the S Pen, which will now sit at the very edge of the bottom left corner. This alteration is likely due to the thinner design of the S26 Ultra, which is 8.2mm thick compared to its predecessor. The S Pen‘s back end, or “clicker,” has also been reshaped, moving away from the flat design seen in earlier leaks.

While the S26 Ultra may not offer radical design changes, it is expected to shine when it comes to display technology. The new OLED panel promises higher brightness and more vivid colors than ever before. Samsung is also rumored to be introducing a privacy mode that limits viewing angles, preventing others from peeking at your screen.

Although the S26 Ultra might not feature groundbreaking changes on the outside, its advanced display and innovative features promise an exceptional user experience. Samsung fans have much to look forward to with this upcoming flagship release.
