Samsung has released the second One UI 8 Watch beta update for the Galaxy Watch 7, bringing several bug fixes and stability improvements. The rollout is currently live in South Korea and the USA, with different firmware versions for Bluetooth-only and Wi-Fi + Cellular models.
In South Korea, the Bluetooth version receives firmware L3xxXXU1ZYH2, while the Wi-Fi + Cellular variant gets L3x5NKOU1ZYH2. In the USA, the Wi-Fi + Cellular model is updated to L3x5USQU1ZYH2. The update is around 155MB in size and still uses the May 2025 security patch instead of the August patch.
According to Samsung’s changelog, the update addresses:
- An issue where outdoor cycling sessions failed to end automatically when started via auto-recognition.
- A display wake-up bug that prevented the screen from activating when the wrist was rotated.
- A glitch where calls were auto-rejected if simultaneous incoming calls were enabled.
Users enrolled in the One UI 8 Watch Beta Program can install the update by opening the Galaxy Wearable app on their paired Android phone, navigating to Watch settings → Watch software update, tapping Download and install, and selecting Install now once the download is complete.
With these fixes, Samsung aims to deliver smoother performance and a more reliable smartwatch experience for Galaxy Watch 7 users ahead of the stable One UI 8 Watch release.
